Mike Brough is MC for the evening About 90 people attended the 10th annual Walker House Heritage Dinner Sunday evening (Feb. 21) at the Best Western Governor's Inn. Following the meal, a group of performers took the audience back through the 1990s, with MC Mike Brough describing each year of that decade, including world news, national events, and local happenings. The performers were Brian Ball, Jason Hunter, Jim Thomas, Patt Lowry, Jaki Mayer-Duggan, Stacey Millar, and Ian Burbidge, and the show, "Reflections on the '90s," contained memorabilia, songs and stories. The event raised about $2,500 for Walker House operations. The oldest building in Kincardine is home to the Paddy Walker Heritage Centre and features numerous historical displays, programs and tours throughout the year. |
