There were loads of activities for everyone at the Tiverton Winterfest on the weekend. Thanks to those who put so much effort into another great event.

Happy 60th birthday to Cheryl Wragg.

Winners at the Ag Card Party were Linda Scott with the most lone hands, Bud Collins with the high score and Murray Luckhart with low score. The next card party will be Monday, Feb. 22, at 1:30 p.m. in Knox Church basement which is wheelchair accessible and there is a light lunch provided.

Chalmers Church has completed its renovations which included an elevator. Come and check it out.

Dorothy Young, daughter of the late Alex and Isabel Young, and formerly of the B-line, passed away in Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, Feb. 7. A memorial service was held at the James Harris Funeral Home, London, on Thursday, Feb. 11. Attending from this area were Mary Young, Wilbur and Jean Campbell, Lloyd and Marjorie Young, Ken adn Jeannette Young, Kathleen Young, Karen Bertin, Mike, Carol and Caleb Blake, Graham and Ruth Ball, Loran Campbell, Bob Young and Julie Clazie, Kitt, Catherine and Wes Elmes, Donald and Marlene Campbell, and Angus and Audrey McKay.

World Day of Prayer - Friday, March 5

Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, will host the annual World Day of Prayer service on Friday, March 5, at 2 p.m. This year we are honouring the Women of Cameroon. Refreshments after the service are from Cameroon recipes. All Bruce Township churches are invited to participate in the planning meeting at Knox Church on Friday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Let's come together as a community to connect in friendship and global support.
