| The
Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron held its annual
public-speaking competition Sunday Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. in the Legion
Hall. Storytelling winners were Serena Rutledge in first, Madison Beishuizen in second, and Kennedy NIcholson in third. Junior winners were Bethany Wilken in first, Hannah Scott in second, and Jake Fair in third. Intermediate winners were Emily Scott in first, Alex Chapleau in second, and Alexandra McLaughlin in third.
