Town Councilors were no match for the only 'filly' in the race, Councilor Diane Huber (far left) as she pulled away from the pack and never looked back

It was a fun event where Saugeen Shores Town Councilors showed off their prowess on tricycles.

A friendly competition, the councilors competed to determine who would have the honour of introducing the Olympic Torchbearers at the closing ceremonies.

Despite 'superhero' capes worn by Deputy Mayor, Doug Freiburger and Councilor Taun Frosst, Councilor Diane Huber soon showed that she had the advantage and left the 'pack' behind in her dust ... winning handily by several lengths.

The rest were still at the starting line as Huber crossed the finish line
