There will be a Soup Luncheon on Jan. 18 at noon at the Knox
Presbyterian Church put on by the Men’s Group. Come out and enjoy a
bowl of hot, homemade soup and some refreshments, all for a goodwill
offering.
All four of the girls hockey teams travelled to Woodstock where they
represented Tiverton with grace and skill. The Midget C team lost
the consolation round in a tense shoot-out and the Midget B team won
its division, 3-2, against Walkerton.
The Novices travelled to Exeter to participate in a tournament on
Sunday where they won their first game in a shoot-out with a
fabulous showing by their goalie, William Potter. Tiverton moved on
but lost out to the Ilderton team.
For the first time ever, Weight Watchers is offering a 20-week
series which began Jan. 4, 4:30 p.m. at the Tiverton and District
Sports Complex. Twenty weeks will help you stay committed until it
