Funding celebrations in Point Clark and Ripley

Huron-Kinloss council will have two reasons to celebrate Tuesday morning, Jan. 5.

First off, at 10 a.m., there will be a ground-breaking/completion celebration at the Point Clark Community Centre to recognize the Point Clark northwest area street reconstruction and watermain replacement project, as well as the Huron Road reconstruction and watermain replacement project, under the Building Canada Fund.

Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb and MPP Carol Mitchell will also be on hand to celebrate the completion of the renovations to the Point Clark Community Centre under the Recreational Infrastructure Canada (RInC) program.

Then, at 11:45 a.m., Mitchell will be announcing an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant for the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron, at the Legion Hall in Ripley.
