The 2009, Pretty in Pink Team, have presented $10,000 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The money was raised at the first Annual Pretty in Pink Ladies' Day Out held October 25, 2009. The event, held at the CAW Education Centre in Port Elgin, was a sold-out success . Several sponsors supported the event, including the major sponsor, the Port Elgin and District Lions Club. The Second Annual Pretty in Pink will held October 24 from 11:a.m. to 4:00 p.m. a\t the Lakeshore Recreation. There will be tables of eight this year and tickets go on sale July 5th. In addition to the annual fashion show and lunch, there will also be numerous vendors. There are a limited number of tickets this year, at $60 ea. and, therefore, it is 'first-come, first-served'. |
Thank you from the Chair "We would like to thank all our sponsors and the businesses who donated so generously to our Silent Auction and Door Prizes. We also thank the women of our community who generously supported Pretty in Pink and look forward to seeing you all again this year ... and, of course, a big thank you to 'The Pretty Boys' who graciously escorted guests and served desserts." Sylvia Sheard, Chair, Pretty in Pink. |
