COTTAGE OUTBUILDINGS ENTERED

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON.) – Three outbuildings at a cottage on Pinebark Lane at Howdenvale were entered and three bicycles, a Stihl chainsaw and a Stihl weedeater were taken.  The entry and theft occurred sometime over the past 2 months.  The cottage itself was not entered.

Police are asking members of the public to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers if they have any information about this break-in.

TAKE CARE NEAR OPEN WATER

With the current warmer temperatures and spring approaching, Bruce Peninsula OPP would again remind the public that ice conditions on area lakes and ponds has started to deteriorate and stream and river levels will soon be rising with the annual spring run off.

March break is approaching and children will be out of doors enjoying their time off.  Now would be a good time to remind your children about spring water/ice safety.
