Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre received a special gift on Thursday, March 4th for its Kidzone program.

The local Southampton CIBC band presented $2,300 in support of the March school break and the summer program.

"We are always excited about the Kidzone programs," says coordinator, Stephanie Riggs.  "The kids are great and we really enjoy that they learn through fun.  We involve the kids in crafts and experiments that are fun as well as learning and we have young student volunteers help out."

This year's March break Kidzone will also give participants the chance to see the Grey Cup and have their photos taken with it on March 17.  The cup will be in the Museum for one day only.\
