According to sources, the recent netting of fish at Colpoy's Bay has come to somewhat of a conclusion.

The fishing boat, allegedly out of Cape Croker, has apparently moved out of Colpoy's Bay into the offshore open water of the lake.

The boat that was gill-netting, seen as a direct threat to pooling, spawning fish, including rainbow trout, was ordered out of the restricted area by order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and at the request of the Cape Croker Unceded First Nation.
