Much like February, March is a time to focus on College Bursaries and the Easter Ham Drive and Pepperettes Fundraiser. March also brings a third component into the mix: Canadian Tire Jumpstart. The College Bursary program deadline has now passed, but the board of directors must now choose their applicants. The awards will be chosen at the next board meeting on Wednesday March 17. The Easter Ham Drive and Pepperettes fundraiser will come to an end in March. The deadline for orders is the morning of Friday March 12. The Bruce Children are Special Foundation would like to remind individuals who have purchased hams or pepperettes that they are to pick up their order the afternoon of March 29 at The Children’s Aid Society of the County of Bruce in Walkerton. As the other programs are coming to an end, Canadian Tire Jumpstart is starting for the spring. The Bruce Children are Special Foundation works with the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program to help those kids in our community have the opportunity to participate in organized sports and recreational activities.
