Sympathy is extended to the Aitken family on the passing of Gloria Aitken Schaus of Clifford.
 
The Purple Grove Bible Study met at the home of Helen vander Glass on Tuesday last week.
 
Tammy Murray, Damon and Dylan with Gramma Wilma Sutton visited with Joyce and John Farrell on Thursday afternoon.
 
Melissa Burmaster and her children, Daniel, Kayla, and Samuel of Kitchener, visited with Fran and Jim Farrell for part of the March Break.

The Logtenberg family celebrated Derk Logtenberg's 75th birthday with a great meal and a Come and Go tea in Goderich on Sunday.

Chris and Tyson Vande Sype of Guelph were home for the weekend.
 
Cordula and Mike Inauen visited on Friday with Fran and Jim Farrell.
 
The Brown Swiss Cattle Association held a barn meeting near Listowel on Saturday.
 
The Bruce County 4-H Annual Meeting was held in Walkerton last Wednesday.
 

Visitors on Sunday with John Farrell's were Bride and Marty Bolte of Guelph; Ian and Richard Elliott of Barrie; Colleen and Jean-Paul Greenwood, James, Conner and Sinead of Ripley; Mary Anne Kukoly; June and Earl Elliott of Wingham; and Paul Greenwood of Goderich.
 
Shirley and Doug MacDonald along with Diane and Wilf Gamble have returned home from a holiday in Florida. They report having a wonderful time.
 
Catherine MacInnis and Lisa Courtney visited with friends in Toronto for the weekend.
 
It is reported that this is the mildest February in 63 years. The Canada geese are back. Has anyone seen the first robin? Have a great week.
