Faith Waddell is on a mission - to eventually become a missionary.
The
16-year-old daughter of Rob and Carolyn Waddell of Tiverton, has served
on mission trips, travelling to Africa last March, New York City in
June, and Toronto in July.
Now, she is planning to join Global Expeditions, part of Teen Mania Ministries, on a mission trip to Israel.
Global
Expeditions is a ministry totally dedicated to reaching the teen
generation and equipping teens to touch the world through missions,
says Faith. "I cannot think of a better way to spend my time than
sharing the Gospel with others and seeing my life changed as well."
Israel
is in the Middle East, and Faith's mission team will be based out
of the City of Jerusalem. She plans to leave July 10 and return home on
Aug. 5.
"Throughout the trip, I will be busy ministering through
one-on-one evangelism, prayer walks, and running errands for people,"
says Faith.
She is hoping the public will assist her on this
trip, by donating to the cost which is $5,000, including airfare,
accommodation, food and training. She will be working hard over the
next few months, to raise funds as well.
A Grade 11 student at
Saugeen District Secondary School, Faith plans to attend Tyndale
University College in Toronto and become a missionary or youth worker.
Those who wish to donate to her mission trip to Israel, can do so by
sending a cheque, made out to "Teen Mania Ministries," to H. Faith
Waddell, Box 94, Tiverton, Ontario, N0G 2T0.
Or donate online at:
http://donate.teenmania.ca. Click "Global Expeditions Missionary," the first
name is "Hannah" and the last name is "Waddell" and the ID Number is
2546008. Choose the option "Donation to Missionary" and click
"Continue."
