Pass across the net crease just misses The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks met their rivals, the Elora Rocks, in a final show-down game in the series at The Plex Saturday night (March 13). It was a tough 4-3 loss to Elora for the Hawks as they ended their season in the North Division final. Ryan Dudgeon, Ryan Fry and Curtis Johnston scored for the Winterhawks. Elora scored two of their goals while a enjoying 5 0n 3 power play advantage. The hockey gods seemed to have decided it was Elora's turn as the 'Hawks lost two of the four games against Elora in overtime and the bounces seemed to be going all one way.The 'Hawks outshot the Rocks 42-35 and Chad Little was named the Crabby Joe's Player of the Game. The 'Hawks saluted their fans at the end with raised sticks and were sent off with rousing cheers. Training camp is only about 150 days away.
