Bart Cameron is the new chief financial officer at Bruce Telecom.

A certified general accountant, he began his duties at the end of March, taking over from Laurel Stein who had taken on the position last August from retiring controller Bill Sipprell.

Cameron spent 13 years at Wescast Industries Inc., the auto parts manufacturer in Wingham. He managed a North American finance group there, before coming to Bruce Telecom, Kincardine's municipally-owned telecommunications company.

He brings to the job his strong financial experience and a management style that includes employee input.
