Congratulations to the folks at Kinloss who prepared another great beef dinner on Sunday at the community centre.
 
Sympathy is extended to Isabel Thompson and family in the loss of her husband, Bert Thompson of Wingham, formerly of the Teeswater area.
 
Some of the folks who participate in the VON exercise program on Monday mornings went to Mary Anne Kukoly's for coffee afterwards last week.
 
Mary Anne Kukoly was shocked to receive news that her grandson, Donny Chartrand of Campbell River, Vancouver Island, suffered a massive heart attack and died last week. He was 34 years old. Our sympathy goes to his family.
 
Carmen Farrell attended the Junior Farmers March conference held in Belleville this weekend.


Sheena Houghton and children, William, Alaina and Ethan of Sanford, Michigan, visited with Shirley and Doug MacDonald for the week.
 
Bette MacLeod's great nephew, Charlie and his wife, Lindsay Miller of Toronto, visited on Sunday with her. They went to the Farmers Diner in Ripley for Sunday dinner. 

 

The Lighthouse Baptist folks held the church service at RVilla this week.
 
Many remembered the celebration of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. We look forward to Easter Sunday when many proclaim, CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED! Imagine His second coming as conquering King over all evil. All our hope is in Him!
