St. Luke's Anglican Church, Pine River, is hosting a dramatic performance of "St. Paul's First Letter to the Christians in Corinth," featuring Canon Mark Tiller, on Sunday, April 18, at 7 p.m. The 75-minute, one-man show has become hugely popular and this is one of the final performances before Tiller goes on hiatus for a year. Tiller says he has always been intrigued by St. Paul, the man who spent a large part of his life condemning Christ's followers, only to turn around and embrace the fundamentals of Christ and keep alive the very faith he had once worked so hard to obliterate.
"I present 1st Corinthians in its entirety as a dramatic production," says Tiller. "I am offering this presentation as an informative, inspirational and unique way of bringing Scripture alive for an individual parish, while helping to raise funds for that church or any related special projects." Tiller has been an Anglican priest for 25 years and involved in theatre for more than 30 years. He brings a personalized touch to one of St. Paul's most renowned and preached letters. He is an active parish priest and lives in Waterdown, Ontario.

![]() Canon Mark Tiller Reviews of his show describe Tiller as a talented dramatist. "Within moments of his stepping on stage, I was transported back to the Apostle Paul's time. How quickly I became a member of the Corinth congregation, hungry for Paul's words on how we were to live together as a new community of faith. By the end, through a deft and surprising change of costumes and props, he brought us back to the present - this time with new insight on how well Paul's words speak to the churches today." - Rev. Deborah McKellar, Trinity United Church, Acton, Ontario. The show at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Pine River, will also feature the Queen's Bush Chorus. Tickets are $10 each and are available by contacting Ruth Anne Robinson at 519-396-7621 or Eva Wilken at 519-396-2335.
