Having some fun during rehearsal are Elyse Wolski (L), McKenzie Stevens (hidden), Rachel Eby, Noah Van Veen, Lori Ogilvie and Eartha Phorson Thirty-six students, along with countless volunteers working backstage, are involved in the Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School's comedy production of "Tales With a Twist." Based on well-known and well-loved fairy tales, the two acts are spoofs on these childhood stories, and show what could have happened after the "happily ever after" ending. One act is "Happily Never After" by playwright Tim Kelly, and directed by Cati Van Veen. The second act is "Angels Expose Leaks in Fairytale Land" by playwrights Christine Harvey and Joanne Duarte, and directed by Stacey Millar. Accompanying the actors are the KTTPS band and choir. The show runs Thursday and Friday, April 8-9, at 6:30 p.m. in the KTTPS gymnasium, and Saturday, April 10, at 2 p.m. followed by a Gala Event.
