Contract agreement reached with Saugeen Shores Police

Deputy Mayor Doug Freiburger announced at Monday night's Town Council meeting that an agreement has been struck with the Police Association and an agreement was signed today (April 12).

Freiburger, also Saugeen Shores Chair of the Police Service Board, said that although negotiations had taken some four months, there was never an impasse.  "It was through all parties negotiating that we were able to finalize an agreement," said Freiburger.

Complete details of the contract signed today have yet to be released.
