A donation was recently made by Ross Reid on behalf of the Southport Optimist club in the amount of $500.

The money was donated in sponsorship of the 'Little NHL and was accepted, on behalf of Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON), by Rachel Mason and Jackie Ritchie.
