Police and town reach contract settlement

After lengthy negotiations, the Town of Saugeen Shores and its police force reached a contract settlement.

The police will receive nine per cent (9%) over three years, with three per cent raise each year, payable in two increments of 1.5% (January and July).

The first increase will be retroactive to January 1st, 2010.
