In Heidi Vail’s grade 1/2 classroom, a mysterious case arrived ...
inside was NOBODY! This creative program allows each child a chance to
explore their own feelings and creativity to create a unique character
building project.
Each student presents a story, a picture, and adds something to the
nobody doll. As the year goes on, the doll changes as each child adds
his/her input to the project. Many of the student projects are on
display in the hallways. The project totally supports our school’s
commitment to character education.
Alexander Orman’s project needs your help! He has decided to run a
Sports and Media Consignment Sale to support the Haitian relief Fund.
This is how it works: People can drop off their no longer used sport
equipment cd’s/dvd’s/golf clubs at the old Port Elgin Arena at the
Missionary Church on Friday April 9th from 5-9PM. The sale will run on
Saturday April 10th from 8AM-1PM. People can pick up their money (or
unsold items), less a small consignment fee from 1-4PM. The consignment
fees collected will be donated to the Haitian Relief Efforts.
For more information contact Jeffrey at 519-832-3773. Great work
Alexander!
