The Kincardine Skating Club saw 1,550 people take in the annual Home and Garden Show, "There's No Place Like Home," held at the Kincardine Davidson Centre April 25-26. That's up from last year and organizers are expecting to raise a substantial amount of funds from the event. 29/04/2009 10:46 PM |
The winner of the grand prize, a king-size Ther-a-pedic mattress and box
spring from Sleepers Bed Gallery, was Nancy Smith of RR 2, Mildmay. She
and her husband, Gerald, picked up the bed Monday. "We really need a new mattress," said Nancy. "After 20 years, it's time for a new one. Our old one is headed for the dump." |
