Southampton United Church and the Choir have lost a family member. Lynda Wills passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the age of 69.
Lynda had a beautiful soprano voice and sitting next to her in choir was a privilege and, when she no longer could come to choir, she was truly missed and will continue to be.
Her artistic nature wasn't confined to singing however. She also created exquisite patterns on silk scarves ... one of which I will always treasure ... and vivid vibrant T-shirts. I will think of her as I wear the shirt with its bright and happy sunflowers that she painted for me.
