Luz Maria Wilson became inspired after her 800 kilometer walk through El Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain ... inspired to help others celebrate life.

A former diplomat from Mexico and a Canadian entrepreneur with more than 20 years of international and Canadian experience in the planning and management of events, delegations and conferences, Wilson has formed 'The Huron Group'.

Working in partnership with area businesses and in combination with the natural beauty of the region's surroundings, the Group will be hosting seasonal events and helping other groups and organizations customize their own event plans.

Most recently, The Group has  been active in organizing the  'Bruce County Women's Show' to be held on April 22nd at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.

 The day begins at 11:00 a.m. with the introduction of products and services. Cash wine and beer will be available with free refreshments followed by ... an Authentic Middle Eastern Vegetarian luncheon prepared by the Al Ibrahim family of Syria.

After lunch, Guest Speaker, Patricia Campbell, PhD, a published author, professor and the founder of Love2Learn, will be presenting 'The Power of Possibility' ... a "fun, engaging, holistic seminar full of ideas about setting satisfying life goals"... "increase your productivity and manage your time".

Singer and songwriter Margaret Wysman will also be performing at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Group's second Guest Speaker, Jen Fowler of Investors' Group.

Throughout the day, there will be draws for prizes from The Feel Good Shop, Kristen's Pharmacy and The Scandinave Spa in Blue Mountain.

Finally, the day ends with speaker Dr. Andrea O'Reilly, Professor at the School of Women's Studies at York University and a well-known published author.

The day promises to be a fun-filled and informative experience of speakers, fortune telling, beauty and food, so ... "Come with your mom, your sister, your friends of by yourself!"
