Just a reminder for all that the Olympic Torch Run is coming through Saugeen Shores on Monday 28 December 2009. 

The torch run will start on Hwy 21 at the CAW road. A total of 11 runners are carrying the torch from the CAW road starting at approximately 5:01 pm to Tomlinson Drive ending at 5:34. 

The torch will then travel to Southampton and the relay will start on Albert St at Spence St at 5:39 pm and 3 runners will carry the torch to Clarendon St with a brief stop at the Art Gallery. The torch will leave Southampton at approx 5:48 pm.  

Please come out and show your support for this one time event. The RCMP are trying their best to keep the run on schedule but in this area don’t be surprised if they run a bit behind time.
