Town Council Public Transit a growing issue.... take our new survey

The current survey asks whether or not you would like public transportation in Saugeen Shores.

Since we don't know the cost, schedules and other details, the question is designed to get your views on the general concept.

It is clear that the community is stretched out from the CAW Centre to the Saugeen First Nations.  People go to the hospital, medical clinics and shopping.

Many communities have public transportation that covers the main corridors of traffic movement.  This is designed to reduce traffic and help seniors.  There is a volunteer group that has been formed to investigate the feasibility of public transit for those with limited mobility.

Our survey question asks a more general question.  In the future, when the Transportation Committee outlines what they mean by limited mobility and other issues, we may ask a more particular question.
