Lindsay and Charlie Millar of Toronto and Robert McLeod of
Mississauga visited with Bette McLeod at RVilla recently.
Congratulations to Sandy and Sean Gander who celebrated their
anniversary last week.
Also we are thinking about the folks who are going into the hospital, or
who are at home recovering from a hospital stay. Those storm days sure
made it tricky to keep doctor's appointments, etc. Mind you, there were
some of us who really enjoyed the enforced holiday - got lots of home
projects done.
Elizabeth Hudel of Kitchener visited for a few days with Mary Anne
Kukoly.
Maureen and Roy Collins spent some time with their daughters and
grandchildren on the weekend in Kitchener.
Christina and Tyson VandeSype of Guelph were at Fran and Jim Farrell's
this week. Chris says she's forgotten what a good Bruce County storm is
like. Jamie Farrell and Crystal Ferguson of Mount Forest; Carmen Farrell
of Walkerton; Agnes, Ken Logtenberg and family of Port Albert were also
by this week. During the week Fran and Jim visited with Joyce and John
Farrell, Karen and Leonard Farrell, and Wendy and Roger Smith.

The December meeting of the W.I. was held at the home of Janet Rhody.
Everyone enjoyed seeing all her Christmas decorations. In the absence of
the president, Cheryl Bridge presided. Janet Nixon read the Scripture.
The roll call was answered by the ladies bringing a child's gift for the
Christmas Hamper. he Snowman raffle was won by one of our guests -
Audrey Currie. The proceeds from the raffle and the collection will be
sent to the 'Sleeping Children Around the World' charity. Various jokes
and readings were enjoyed.
The Convener Maureen Collins presented a great program of appropriate
readings regarding Christmas customs, and contests. Christmas carols
were also sung. The lunch was provided by Largaret McInnes and Deanna
Scott. Everyone was reminded that the January meeting is at Fran's on
the second Wednesday.
